A custom city map: the gift that knows where you come from
How our personalised illustrated city maps work, what you receive, and the moments they are made for.
Some places are part of who you are: the city you grew up in, the neighbourhood of your first flat, the corner where you met. A custom city map puts that place on the wall.
How it works
- Order the custom city map on Etsy.
- Tell us the city or area, and choose a style: Vibrant Color or Vintage Ink.
- Pick a size: 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, ISO A1–A4, 11×14 or a custom size. You can add your own title text.
- We send you a preview. One minor adjustment is included, plus up to two revisions if the first concept does not fit.
- You receive the final high-resolution files (JPG, 300 DPI) in 3 to 5 business days.
Moments it is made for
- A first home together, or the keys to a new flat.
- A wedding or anniversary: the city where it all started.
- Moving abroad, for the people you leave behind or for yourself.
- A newborn's birthplace, framed for the nursery.
Two styles
Vibrant Color is bright and illustrated, with blue rivers and green parks; it suits modern rooms and children's spaces. Vintage Ink is sepia and engraved, closer to an old travel poster; it suits studies, hallways and wood tones.
It is a digital product: you receive files to print, not a printed poster. That also means you can print it more than once, for example one for you and one for your parents.
